MDC needs a modern comprehensive toolset for budget development, monitoring and adjustment, tuition modeling and financial reporting and analysis. As part of the ERP project, the College acquired the Oracle Hyperion software. Hyperion is a multi-dimensional data base. It is mainly designed as financial tool, but will contain data from the functional pillars (Finance, Human Capital Management and Campus Solution). The MDConnect implementation includes Hyperion to support the much needed financial planning and reporting functionality. The first functionality of Hyperion will go live January 2016 with additional functionality to follow.
